New glasses
I ordered new glasses today, mostly because my prescription is completely out of date and I need new ones, but also because I'm wanting a change. Changing your glasses is like changing your hairstyle, only worse, because if you don't like how you get your haircut, you can always wait for it to grow back. Glasses are a significant investment, and basically an extension of your personality. It's times like these I wish I could wear contacts (I have way too much of an astigmatism to make contacts even remotely feasible) but it's also fun in a weird way. It's almost like picking a whole new you. These are the glasses I picked out.

They're also very David Tennant in Doctor Who "Tooth & Claw" which means my wife won't be able to keep her hands off me. (if only I looked like David Tennant!) I'm not even going to think about how much thewho whole affair cost. (I also got a second pair more like what I have now because they have a sunglass attachment, and for days when I'm feeling more like my old self, I guess) Instead, I'll think about how sharp and sexy I'll be in them.

there's certainly a passing resemblance to the good doctor, but not nearly enough that you can get away with using his picture as your avatar... :-p

oops, double posted. bad kev...
Any excuse to plaster David Tennant's adorable mug up on the Internets is fine by me. Love the glasses!
Found your blog while looking for photos of David Tennant with glasses; my hubby just got new ones and is trying to convince me that he now looks like the good Doctor. I keep telling him no, he looks like a NASA scientist from the 60's; lo and behold, you make the same comment! I told my blog-crazy husband, "you HAVE to be friends with this guy!"
LOVE the new glasses... but then I'm a sucker for Tennant's Doctor. Plus, I just go crazy for that hot-geek look!
