This much is true

I can never live where it does not snow.

It is snowing tonight that kind of snow that is so light and fine it blows all over the place and makes it hard to drive because of drifting and poor visibility. But it is beautiful. Given the choice between the coldest day of winter and the hottest, muggiest day of summer, it is no contest. I will pick winter every time.

I am so with you . . . I love snow, too, especially if I don't have to drive in it. I don't know if I've ever seen or heard of anyone admit that they can't live without snow, but I agree, perhaps because I haven't looked good in shorts for most of my life.

Yeah, and now that I'm facing the prospect of having to trudge to work this morning and it is still snowing, I'm not sure how much I like it! Although I'm sure that I am still more excited to go out in this than I am during the dog days of summer.

I have to say, I'm not enjoying the snow much this morning, either. I think I could walk faster than I was driving!

I was shocked that Ames did not call school today, although I expect they will soon.

Waukee is letting out early, but I don't know what time. I really do miss those early outs!!!
