Seasons greetings to cash

Heidi used this picture once on her blog, but it pretty much sums up how I feel about money right now. Especially at this what's-supposed-to-be-festive time of year which really, is all about the almighty dollar anymore.

So this is what I have to say about money, especially at Christmas, when there never seems to be any of it left, even on the day of payday.

christmas is very expensive, i utterly agree. And it all seems good that i get paid a week early but then i remember it has to last a week longer than normal. And just to prove i can get names right, Christmas wishes to you (dan) Heidi (not Holly!) and Anna (also not Holly!) Apologies. Gah!

Some years I am good about spending and some years I just live on credit for the last 2 weeks of December, which is horrible! Esp b/c I already have debt. Oy. I wish someone had not allowed me credit at a young age. :) Or maybe I just wish I had self control...

I simply protest and get things for people when I can afford to and feel like it, as the year progresses. My XMas cards don't go out until late January, if ever. I'm not Xtian nor do I have a fat bearded man fetish, so the heck with it.
